Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
How long will my project take?
Project timelines vary based on complexity, but we’ll provide an estimated completion date before work begins.
Do you offer free consultations?
We are pleased to offer free consultations and quotations to help you explore your project ideas with ease. For insurance jobs, while we provide free estimates, a small admin fee applies when preparing a formal quotation. This fee covers the additional time and effort often required to secure insurance payouts, which can involve multiple attempts and extended resolution times.
As a gesture of goodwill, this admin fee will be fully refunded if you choose to proceed with the job through us.
Can you work with my existing plans?
Absolutely! We’re happy to work with your architects, designers, or existing plans to bring your vision to life.
What payments do you take?
We provide flexible payment options to suit your needs. Upon invoicing, payments can be made via BACS (bank transfer) or credit card.
Deposits:
We require a deposit ranging from 30% to 50%, depending on the scope of the job and the materials that need to be supplied.
Final Payments:
Final invoices are issued upon completion of the work and must be paid upon receipt.
If you’d like to discuss alternative payment options ahead of the start of works, we’re happy to accommodate where possible. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch to discuss your preferences.
Do you supply materials for projects?
Yes, we can both supply materials and work with materials provided by the customer. However, please note that we only insure materials that we supply. Any materials provided by the customer will remain the customer’s responsibility.
If you have specific materials you’d like us to work with, please let us know during the planning stage so we can ensure everything meets the project requirements.
Do you handle waste removal?
Yes, we can provide waste removal services for your project. Please note that waste removal is charged as an additional service and will need to be included in your quotation upon request.
Our team can discuss your waste removal needs during the planning stage and provide a clear breakdown of costs in your quotation. This ensures that all waste generated during the project is disposed of responsibly and in compliance with UK waste disposal regulations.
If you prefer to manage waste removal yourself, please let us know so we can make the necessary arrangements.

Yes, all work carried out by LP CarpentryConstruction is fully insured and guaranteed for your peace of mind. Our insurance covers the workmanship and any materials we supply, ensuring your project is protected throughout its duration.
We are confident in the quality of our work and offer a guarantee on all projects. Full details of our guarantee can be found in our Terms and Conditions.
